Pretium Packaging is pleased to announce that, effective Tuesday, February 16, Steve Ploeger will join the company
in the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing responsible for
all Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Product and Business Development
efforts. Steve, until accepting this

Corporation where he spent 24 years in various management positions.
Pretium’s CEO and President George Abd commented, “We are very pleased to have
an executive of Steve’s background and experience join our company at this
exciting point in our company’s history as we merge our business with Novapak
corporation to create a much larger enterprise. When we announced the transaction in early January and in concert with
some changes occurring in our executive staff, we approached Steve and he agreed
that this exciting opportunity was one that he would like to pursue. I had the pleasure of working with
Steve for 9 years at Spartech and know that his experience in integrating sales
organizations and driving organic sales growth in the packaging sector will add
tremendous value to our team, and our customers. We see tremendous opportunity in this business combination and the
addition of Steve to our team will allow us to deliver that value to our
customers very quickly and effectively.”
Steve will replace Dave Winslett who announced his retirement last month after
43 years in industry and 10 years with Pretium Packaging. Mr. Winslett will work with Steve on
the organizational transition through April 30.
Mr. Abd further stated, “When Dave made the decision to retire, we received the
news with much regret and we thank him for his 10 successful and productive
years at Pretium.After Dave made
this decision, he was intimately involved in choosing his successor and will be
working hand-in-hand with Steve over the next few months transition period. All of us at Pretium are
grateful for everything Dave has done for the company and wish him and his wife
Cyndi health and happiness in his retirement.”
